”It was something I hadn’t thought about until then. Her point was that we always have wish lists and desires and when they do come true we kind of forget to enjoy them and really be happy because you already have a different wish list and we’re thinking about the future.

”This struck a chord with me and stayed with me all my life. It taught me to live in the moment.”
