1572Nina is from Luxemburg, and has many interesting stories from her time in Cambodia and elsewhere.

She said her SOTM comes from a time when she was just starting out in journalism, and was working for an Australian company. A woman joined the team and was pitted against the “old blokes” already working there.

“She’d come out of meetings looking really exhausted but actually getting her way, and I asked her once what was going on behind those doors. She replied that they were chauvinistic pigs and didn’t treat her the same way as they treat other men.”

Therefore this lady gave Nina this SOTM advice, urging her to “not make it personal” when you deal with someone difficult. She explains more in her audio clip.
