She explains in her audio clip that her SOTM comes from a friend of hers, Cody. "He told me this in November 2010. I'd been backpacking Thailand for about a month and I dreamed about being able to make my full-time living from my travel blog.

"Cody told me 'Are you kidding? You'll be here in a year.' Well, I didn't believe him at all. Then turns out I was there in six months."
