1284This is the really rather excellent Poppy Dinsey, who runs What I Wore Today, which is well worth a look for all sorts of reasons. She explains in her audio clip that her SOTM was said to her some years ago, at an airport.

She points out that things which are said in departure lounges “always seem to have a heightened sense of emotion”. She also says that she doesn’t wish to identify which airport and city it was spoken in, so that the man who said it doesn’t know “how much importance it seemed to have” for her.

“But I do very much hope what he said, and what was therefore in my picture, is true,” she added.
