”But the humming bird decided to go to the river and fill its beak and put a drop of water on the fire, every time it went back.
”And the other animals said to the humming bird ‘What are you doing? You’re so little, you couldn’t make a difference.
”The bird replied ‘I may be little, but I’m doing the best I can’. I think that was the message Wangari Maathai was trying to get across. [para"]We may feel insignificant at times, but we have to be the humming bird and do the best we can. Instead of standing and watching the planet be devastated, we have to try our best to save it.”
