2513“Upon my reading I came across a book, A Long Walk To Freedom, by Nelson Mandela,” says Nokuthula in her audio commentary.

”There were some quotes in the book and this one sunk into me. I started asking myself ‘Am I making a difference in the lives of others?’

”Recently in school I did a project on poverty. This was to get across a point of what difference are we making to those people who are experiencing poverty in the country?

”I was basically inspired by Nelson Mandela and also the projects that came after democracy in South Africa, where people are now trying to get out there and make everyone live nice in this whole new world we’ve created.”
