”One of the things he told me was this. In 2007 I lost my mother. In 2008 I started working. I didn’t have this phrase in mind at that time, but looking back, when I went to work I made sure I looked like a manager, even though I was a till operator.

”So I decided that whatever I do in my life, I’ll do it well.”
