1195Damion is a learning and development worker with the Centrepoint charity. He said his SOTM comes from “a good friend of mine who went through a lot of problems” who wondered why someone should live in their mind “without giving me anything back”. Damion explains more in his audio clip

He went on to say that Centrepoint “does wonderful things for young people, giving them opportunities to extend and rebuild their lives [and] the courage, determination and drive to succeed in life”. After a couple of years homeless young people at Centrepoint need to find their own accommodation.

"It's almost impossible for homeless young people living on tight budgets to save for their deposit and first month's rent. What an act of generosity it would be if you were able to find the money for one young person to move on into safe, warm accommodation."
