”I didn’t know what to do with my life or what courses to take. So I asked my mom, and she told me I could do whatever I want, even if it was a bricklayer, as long as it was the best choice for me and I would do it the best.

”That’s when she told me this. That stuck with me ever since I was a teenager.”
