431A couple of Christamses ago he was thinking about his friend, who he’d left behind working in Iraq. He hadn’t heard from him for a week, and was worried that something bad had happened. Just then, the friend rang up with this message, after having been captured in Iraq for five days. Our subject’s website is http://ourmaninside.com/ and he’s known online as Documentally. At the very moment the photo was being taken, he was Twittering (or is it Tweeting?) “I am being photographed” via his phone. Taken at the ICA in London.
