888Mandi Daws submitted this via the SOTM Flickr group. She said this photo was taken at her office in Lincoln, Nebraska, US. She wrote: “Last night I was on the phone with my new sister-in-law, talking about the wedding photos I shot for them on Halloween.

"She gushed and gushed about how much they loved them and about how they think I have an amazing talent for capturing the atmosphere and emotion of the day. She told me that when she looked through the photos, she felt like she was back there on her wedding day. I told her that was the biggest compliment she could give me.

"As a photographer, my goal is to capture memories and to create photos that remind the person of how they felt when the photo was taken. That's when she told me, ‘People will always remember how you made them feel.’ So I Googled it and found the quote in its entirety.
