853The original shot was quite different, an idea which didn’t prove satisfactory in execution. But then the photographer for the Bangor Mail, who was taking a picture of the SOTM picture being taken, asked me to step closer “to create less space between you both”. While in position I decided to fire off a handful of shots, and later decided that those hasty snaps were better than my original idea. Taken on Bangor pier in north Wales. The Bangor Mail appear never to have used their photos.
