Professor Dumbledore says this quote to Harry when looking Harry is into the Mirror Of Erised, which shows only what the person looking into it most desires.

"When Harry looks into the mirror he sees his parents alive, and with him, and has been coming back to stare at the mirror for night's on end.

“However Dumbledore turns up one night and explains to Harry how wizards have gone mad staring into the mirror and have wasted away, this is when he says this quote.

"When Harry asks Professor Dumbledore what he sees in the mirror, he replies ‘I, I see myself holding a pair of thick, woolen socks.’ I love you Dumbledore! Xxxx”
