907Jenn sent this in via the SOTM Flickr group. She took it in Lansing, MI, USA, in her office at work. She said she had run into the ex-girlfriend of my ex-boyfriend a week before this shot was taken. “I guess you could say I "stole" him away from her. She didn't recognize me and told me upon meeting me "for the first time" how beautiful I am. She suffers from a muscle degenerative disease which causes her to look slightly disfigured. And after all of that, she was the one telling me I'm beautiful. That just blows my mind. That's truly why the compliment was so hard to hear.”
